SEWING

A brief personal history

I started sewing in primary school when I made my first patchwork cushion. In lower secondary school I started making clothes and in high school I finally managed to make something that I could wear. It was amazing!

Sewing, as everything else I do, has always been a journey of trial and error, but I feel like I’m in a place now where frustration doesn’t stop me from trying and I can persevere through most problems.

As I am one of those people, who after having a baby also has a completely new body, I will in some point (soon!) have to relearn to make clothes for myself again. But in the mean time I’m enjoying making things for my little boy.

I’ve recapped some of my past projects here.
